Caldwell County
Outstanding recreational opportunities,
the arts and community festivals make Caldwell County living
even more enjoyable. Natural scenery in the foothills of the
Blue Ridge Mountains and a moderate southern climate add to
Caldwell County's quality of life. We also have six golf
courses in the county.
Boating, canoeing and water skiing on
nearby lakes and snow skiing on the mountain slopes are less
than an hour's drive away.
Caldwell County offers thousands of
acres of pristine wilderness, scenic beauty, and a wide
variety of outdoor activities. Caldwell County contains more
than 50,000 acres of recreational land, much of it part of
the Pisgah National Forest.
