Jackson County's public and semi-private golf courses offer classic mountain challenges to tens of thousands of golfers each year. From Cashiers and its world-renowned resorts and courses to the south to the new Smoky Mountain Country Club in the northern end of the county, the area offers one-of-a-kind mountain golf in a variety of awe-inspiring settings. The Waynesville Country Club is also a short drive from most northern Jackson County locations.
One of the oldest courses in the mountains, High Hampton plays at 6,012 yards from the back tees to bent grass greens. Amenities include a covered driving range and two putting greens. The club also hosts golf schools and tournaments.

Spectacular panoramic views are present on every hole. The 6,181 yard course features 500 vertical feet of elevation change, creating a true mountain golfing experience. |
