Thermal Belt Rail-Trail - Eastern Rutherford County

New 6 mile hiking/biking trail which extends from downtown Spindale north to Gilkey area is open for non-motorized access. Groomed crushed rock surface. Trail can be accessed from downtown Spindale or at parking lot across from Tanner Factory Store where a multi-station exercise course is planned. Accommodations and restaurants are nearby.
